Superior Magnesium Supplement
My patients and I have all tried different brands of magnesium supplements. This product is the only one that has produced great results. I appreciate the high quality supplements Jigsaw offers. The magnesium SRT has high efficacy without side effects. The tablet dosage allows for gradually increasing magnesium as tolerated. The Adrenal Cocktail is a convenient way to supplement whole food ACs as needed. The website wasn’t as user friendly as I’d hoped, but customer service was AWESOME! When I got too many bottles of AC and not enough magSRT, Jonathan sent me the desired qty of magSRT and a label to return excess sealed bottles of AC. I am a serious gardener and as i was starting to have some difficulties with my knees (all the ups and downs required working daily in my garden I was concerned about how long I could continue doing what I love most of all). Helps my leg cramps!
I use Magnesium because I have leg cramps during the night. MagSRT is the only product I have found that alleviates the problem, at least 80 to 90 percent of the time for an extended period of time. When it doesn't I have the Ancient Minerals magnesium lotion Jigsaw sells. I don't know how that works, but when I am in the grip of painful leg cramps in the middle of the night I use it on the cramps and it works.

The "SRT" in Jigsaw MagSRT® stands for Sustained Release Technology, often referred to as "time-release", and it's the major difference that gives this product its superior effectiveness.*
Instead of the magnesium supplement being dumped into your system all at once, SRT slows down the release of magnesium so it's spread out over 8 hours, which allows your body to absorb the maximum it needs to start feeling your best... avoiding the dreaded digestive discomfort that high doses most high potency magnesium supplements can cause.*
P5P (Pyridoxal-5-Phosphate), the active form of Vitamin B6, performs over 30 critical enzymatic reactions in the body, including the manufacture of serotonin and dopamine in the brain. The inactive forms of B6 (pyridoxine hydro-chloride, pyridoxal, or pyridoxamine) have to be converted by the liver to the active form (Pyridoxal-5-Phosphate or P5P) the body needs. Individuals with compromised liver function have difficulty making this conversion and consequently may be at risk of a vitamin B6 deficiency.
P5P works synergistically with Magnesium in many ways. A deficiency in either causes many issues where the body depends on both Magnesium and P5P. It is critical to get both.
Since Vitamin B6 is already difficult to get and convert into its usable form, we give it to you already in its active P5P form. All the benefits are available immediately after absorption - no trouble converting or waiting.
Quatrefolic® (5-MTHF, or folate) is an active form of Vitamin B-9, folic acid. For many people, it is difficult for the liver to convert folic acid into folate and can lead to a deficiency.
Folate is an important cofactor to Pyridoxal-5-Phosphate (P5P, Vitamin B6) and beneficial to many bodily functions. Together, these greatly improve Magnesium’s function to support optimal health.*
Methylcobalamin, the active form of Vitamin B12, is included as a supporting B vitamin to contribute to the effectiveness of Magnesium.*
Additionally, methylcobalamin is a necessary cofactor for your body's ability to properly methylate. Methylation is a cycle that occurs in your body billions of times every second. It's one of the most important biochemical processes for long-term health and essential for the proper function of almost all of your body's systems.*
Using the active form of B12 is particularly important because people with chronic conditions are poor methylators -- making it difficult to convert inactive forms into their useful active form.*
Magnesium malate is formed when magnesium is attached to malic acid (an organic compound found in fruits and vegetables, especially apples). Malic acid is used by the body to help create energy and has several other health benefits including: the ability to bind to toxic metals and excrete them from your body, skin health, healthy relaxed muscles, and oral health.*
MagSRT® by Jigsaw Health was evaluated in the Scottsdale Magnesium Study (SMS), a placebo-controlled, human clinical trial of 91 participants. The study measured Serum Magnesium, Red Blood Cell (RBC) Magnesium, and Magnesium Deficiency symptoms. The results are published in the peer-reviewed Journal of American College of Nutrition (JACN).
The Recommended Dietary Intake (RDI) for Magnesium is 420mg per day and is the minimum amount required to avoid a deficiency — not necessarily the maximum amount required for optimal health.*

However, many people have been running low on magnesium for years and need more than the "minimum" to replenish their magnesium stores. In fact, factors such as stress, medications, and poor diet further deplete magnesium levels daily.*
